Biological History & Beneficial Characteristics  

Oolong Dragon Tea is a traditional semi-oxidized Chinese imperial tea that is grown at high mountain altitudes (the land of the phoenix and dragons). The leaves are from the Camellia sinensis plant (commonly referred to as the tea tree). The leaves and buds are picked when ripe and endure a carefully timed drying process to preserve the sweet richness of the tea. Oolong tea is known for it's uniquely rich flavours and empowering caffeine content which can benefit healthy mental alertness. A powerfully flavourful tea that resembles the flow of a long Canadian train traveling up the Rocky Mountain slopes.
